Cheryl Hege

Greetings!

My research focuses on Political Science Psychology, Human Rights, and Political Motivations. I have regional interests in the United States of America, Germany, Belarus, and Russia.

Being proficient in English, German, and French has allowed me to collect data through archival research and source information analysis. My work from Stony Brook University is on White Replacement Theory in the United States of America and is currently available on ResearchGate.

At Undisclosed University, I have taught the following undergraduate courses, including Introduction to Political Science (Fall 2024, Winter 2025, Spring 2025), Fake News (Spring 2025), United States History (Spring 2025), College Writing and Critical Analysis (Fall 2024), and Fundamentals of Communication (Fall 2024).

At Stony Brook University, I served as a Teaching Assistant four times and designed two courses for the Insititute of Globalization Studies. I taught Terrorism and Global Security (Summers 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) and Global Data Analysis (Winter 2024, 2025).

Before graduate school, I studied German Language and Literature, Human Rights, and Political Science at Hunter College in Manhattan.

In my free time, I enjoy trivia night, Qwirkle (boardgame), playing my saxophone, learning languages, and baking scones.
